Looking for World History Primary Sources?

Primary sources are a key part of any History Day project. There are a lot of places to find sources related to American History- both online and at local museums, libraries, or historical societies. But where can you find primary sources for World History Day topics? Try some of the websites below or check out the list provided by National History Day.

Remember the judges are looking for use of available primary sources. They are not going to expect you to translate Chinese or Russian. Students researching an ancient topic naturally will not have as many primary sources. That is OK. Just make sure you put an effort toward finding relevant primary sources for your topic.
