Now that we have completed another successful year of National History Day in Ohio, I want to take this opportunity to congratulate all of you on a job well done! Every year the History Day staff is amazed at the quality of the projects done by you, the students.
I hope you have found your judges comments to be helpful as many of you begin planning for next year's project. If you have questions regarding the interpretation of your judges comments please do not hesitate to e-mail the History Day Expert at historyday@ohiohistory.org
As we begin to wrap up another school year, I could use some feedback on these blogs. The History Day expert needs to know what kind of History Day information you are looking for when you view the blog. Has this blog been helpful to you? What can make it better? History Day Contest Debriefing
Sorry it has been so long since the last post but it has been one busy History Day Contest Season! I hope this blog finds you all doing well and I am sure you are excited about the end of the school year approaching. Congratulations to each and everyone of you for making Ohio History Day great! This year over 5,000 students from all over Ohio participated in the History Day program! That is amazing!
Are you thinking about next year already? If you are next years History day theme is Individual in History Soon we will be posting the list of suggested topics as related to Ohio's history. So get those thinking caps on and get creative! If you have any topic suggestions or questions for the History Day expert, be sure to send them our way to historyday@ohiohistory.org
Are you graduating this year? Join the ranks of the National History Day in Ohio Alumni! Just send an e-mail to the Ohio History Day expert subject Alumni, with your Name, e-mail, mailing address, college you plan to attend, and intended major. We'll be sure to get you the latest updates and information on the National History Day in Ohio Program. Now that you will have graduated you are qualified to Judge!
So put those thinking caps on about next years History Day and make history rock!
